Gardening With The Daily Mail

6/17/2016

After a few cool and lovely days out of town, I'm back to enjoy some 90+ degree humidity. Come inside and let's get down to business!

Here we have another topic offered "at a glance" in wheel form! I can't imagine today's Daily Mail ever putting out a product like a gardening wheel. Maybe "Misbehaving Pop Stars At-a-Glance" instead. Times have changed.

This is a smidge over ten inches across and is made of a nice, sturdy cardboard. And it's double-sided. I like the charming illustrations of smartly-dressed pre-WW2(?) Brits enjoying their gardens. It's a pretty nice reference for the English gardener, don't you think? It tells you when to plant, in what type of soil, etc. It has flowers on one side and vegetables on the other.

NOTE: You should be able to click on each image to enlarge it. Let me know if that's not working and I'll ask the folks at Weebly what's up.
