Hello, everyone! I know you're skeptical, but hang in there with me.
I hope that I've found a blogging platform that is easy to use on my iPad rather than the PC. If you check out the Home page, you'll see links to my Pinterest and Instagram pages. I know all of you are totally on board with all the social media hubbub, but you'll find no Facebook here. If you want to find out what I'm up to, look here or just ask. Recently, I decided to finally get familiar with my digital SLR camera so I can quit taking boring pictures. I found one of The Great Courses offered on Craftsy -- a $325 value for only $70! It's Fundamentals of Photography and is taught by a National Geographic photographer who is an advocate of making a good picture in camera rather than hoping to fix it later on the computer. There are 24 lessons and a 167-page book, so that's a pretty good deal. I've really enjoyed the course. This weekend we're going to Paul and Michelle's annual lobster boil and I'll be taking my camera with me. I've also taken an online course on iPhone photography and have learned all kinds of ways to create interesting effects and to fine-tune the photos right on my phone and iPad. And I've discovered a lot of things you can do in the native camera app that I'm not sure I ever would have figured out without taking the course. I think that's about all I have right now. See you soon! Comments are closed.
